TAKING LEAVE

The euthanasia of the horse should be a dignified farewell to a faithful companion and should be done as lovingly and calmly as possible. dr medical vet Moritz Schnewlin attaches great importance to responding to your needs. Usually the time is early in the morning. This ensures that the transport works well and that the animal is picked up as soon as possible.

After the horse has been sedated, a venous line is placed. An anesthetic is then administered so that the horse can lie down and fall asleep peacefully. Only then is the anesthesia deepened, causing breathing and the heart to gently come to a standstill.
